On 14th December 2024, the Kuro-Wari Global Foundation, in collaboration with the Moments with the Kween Community (MWTKC), carried out an outreach to the Kuje Correctional Facility, Abuja, aimed at bringing encouragement and hope to inmates as the year drew to a close. The team spent time fellowshipping with inmates in the chapel, sharing worship, encouragement and prayer.
Food items were distributed, alongside books and Bibles — including the NIV Life Application Study Bible, Tony Evans Study Bible and Maxwell Leadership Bibles — donated to the facility's library. A highlight of the visit was discovering that some inmates were pursuing education through the Open University Centre, including one working towards a PhD who had already authored a book — a powerful reminder of resilience and the potential for transformation in every season of life.
