9+ Years. 20,000+ Lives.
Key impact numbers from the 2025–2026 reporting year.
Since our first community visit in 2016
Kuro-Wari Global Foundation has grown from a small group of volunteers visiting a children's home into an established Abuja-based NGO with nine recognised programme areas.
Nearly a decade of continuous community service (2016–2026), evolving from ad hoc school visits into a structured NGO spanning nine recognised programme areas.
Built recurring, brandable flagship campaigns rather than one-off events — True Love Waits, Boys Connect, Boys & Girls Connect, The Greatest Journey Programme, and annual Menstrual Hygiene Day outreach.
Sustained an almost unbroken annual menstrual hygiene campaign since 2018, reaching girls across more than a dozen Abuja communities and schools, most recently under the "Period Proud: Breaking Silence, Building Confidence" theme.
Diversified its partner and funding base across corporate sponsors, civic groups, faith-based partners, and institutional partners including schools and the Kuje Correctional Facility.
Delivered skills-based empowerment programmes (Girls Who Code, Diva in You, King in You, the School Desk Project) alongside welfare and relief work, including a COVID-19 response that reached over 400 people in a single outreach.
Positioned as an implementation partner for the ECoN Young Innovators Academy (EYIA), extending KWGF's scope from community welfare and mentorship into STEM and innovation education.
