On 12th August 2022, the Kuro-Wari Global Foundation joined the global community in celebrating International Youth Day, themed "Intergenerational Solidarity: Creating a World for All Ages." The theme highlighted the importance of collaboration across generations in building a more inclusive, sustainable and peaceful world, calling on young people to actively engage in shaping the future through education, social justice, global peace and sustainable development.
At KWGF, we believe the potential of young people is not defined by age, but by their capacity to lead, innovate and create meaningful change within their communities. As Nelson Mandela said: "Sometimes, it falls upon a generation to be great. You can be that great generation. Let your greatness blossom."
