Career Day & School Support Initiative – Karimo-Sabo

On 18th January 2023, the Kuro-Wari Global Foundation organized a Career Day Event at Junior Secondary School, Karimo-Sabo, Abuja, as part of the school's back-to-school program. The event engaged about 300 JSS3 students in practical discussions on factors to consider when choosing a career, habits of an A-grade student, and real-life career journeys shared by mentors, delivered in collaboration with Ngage Media Global and Saramez Associates Ltd.

Professionals who contributed included Barr. Miebaka Nyanabo, Registered Nurse Ibiene Nyanabo (Midwifery), Arc. Victor, Arc. Chike Nnaobi, Eno Bassey (Medical Laboratory Scientist), Nurse Chioma, Elizabeth Agagwu (Pastry Chef), Ifeoma Ekanem (Certified Children and Teens Counsellor), Bon Collins Udeh, Nnenna Ochuwa, Barr. Chisom Onyema, and Ritabella Onyemenam (Event Planner). A major highlight of KWGF's continued engagement with the school is the school desk support project, initiated after it was observed that many students had to sit on the floor during lessons.
