Boys Connect Project 101 – Gosa Community

📅 14 June 2020 📍 Gosa Community, Abuja 👥 18 mentors and over 110 teenage boys (ages 11–20)

On 14th June 2020, in celebration of Father's Day, the Kuro-Wari Global Foundation hosted the Boys Connect Project 101 in Gosa Community, Abuja — a mentorship session guiding young boys into responsible manhood. The outreach brought together 18 male mentors and over 110 teenage boys (ages 11–20) for a day of honest conversations, shared experiences and meaningful connection.

Mentors engaged the boys on health, identity, struggles with sexuality, peer pressure, abuse, faith, vision and life choices, creating a safe space to ask questions and learn from men who have walked similar paths. We are grateful to mentors including Barr. Derek, Jerome, Barr. Somto, Bon Collins, Ifeanyi Ozoeze, Caesar and others who gave their time and hearts to guide the next generation.
